Making an Inexpensive Scrapbook Out of Plastic Bags

Equipment You Will Need to Have
To be able to create a scrapbook out of plastic bags, you'll need to get a box of gallon plastic bags that zip closed. Using the ruler as a guide, score a line along the front and back bound edges, so that you will be able to fold them back. This will allow the book to fold open easily.
Incorporating the Photos
When the book is put together, the fun can start. Give your child a stack of photos and craft or scrapbook paper cut to fit inside the bags. Then they will be able to use sticky squares or some glue and some markers and scissors to create fun pages. When the pages are all complete, put them in the bag page holders, and zip them closed. If you are creating the book for a gift, you might want to take some more time making the picture pages. These scrapbooks are great because the bag pages are so easy to open and to close that it makes it extra easy to swap photos back and forth between your book and picture frames.
