Go to: Previous Article Next Article
Of course, Apple's statement of Steve Jobs ' death came as a surprise. Folks from around the globe who was acquainted with this digital entrepreneur's work were devastated, to say the least. About half of the planet's population has an Apple product. I don't have an evidence to support this statement, but many of us do! Like you, who are reading this article, right?
Do you remember how you felt when you purchased your first Apple product? Joy, excitement, amusement"name a synonym of satisfied and you got it. Whether or not he was aware of it, Steve Jobs is one of the few digital entrepreneurs who have an irrefutable impact in our lives.
And to celebrate his genius, I have assembled here some excerpts or quotations from the many millions of speeches, publications and product launches that Steve Jobs has made.
"Your time is restricted, so do not waste it living someone else's life."
"Remembering that I may be dead soon is the most important tool I have ever faced to help me make the big decisions in life. Because just about everything"all external expectancies, all pride, all fear of humiliation or failure - these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving just what is actually important. Recollecting that you're going to die is the easiest way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you've got something to lose. You are exposed. There is no reason not to follow your feelings. Stay hungry. Stay foolish."
"Details matter, it's worth waiting to get it right."
"You have to be burning with an idea, or a difficulty, or a wrong that you want to right. If you aren't keen enough from the start , you will never stick it out."
"Innovation is not about exclaiming yes to everything. It's about saying No thanks to all but the most vital features."
Barely does it occur when a fellow you do not know at all impacts your life in many ways. Steve Jobs is more than simply a digital businessman. When you use your iPhone to make a call or snap a photograph or when you switch on your iPad or MacBook to surf the net- Steve's ingenuity is there with you.
And I think this is what every digital businessman must target for: to make a difference. If you would like to be successful in your career, you need to always be in the lookout for things which will create an impact and improvement in your customer's live. You want to work diligently not just for yourself but for other people too.
