You will simply come across as either creepy or senile. You have earned the authority to be yourself, and nothing is wrong with this. So do not make excuses for your age; instead, embrace it. Do yourself, her, and ordinary people a favor; keep your hands to yourself. If the two you are at the stage where you kiss frequently, then that is okay.
