In an effort to grow and expand the Bossier Christmas Parade, the Rotary Club of Benton adopted the parade to include it in its annual Benton Christmas festival. The festival is an all-day event that will include a 5K run, tethered balloon rides, cake decorating contest, treasure hunt and balloon glow.
Tethered balloon rides will have a charge, but festival events such as the parade are free and open to the public. Santa and Mrs. Claus also will be on hand doing family portraits and there will be a charge for those.
