A quick drive from city, you'll find Hidden Valley which has plenty of truly engaging rock formations to take a look at. They also feature some colourful, natural, Australian desert colors.
Comparatively talking, Kununurra is a fairly young town when compared to the Aboriginal societies that peopled the area in traditional times.
